When I wrote the post yesterday I probably should have elaborated a bit more. Here it is!!
There is no doubt about the nexus between obesity and diabetes.
Over half of all Americans are either overweight or obese. If those people who don't already have diabetes want to avoid getting it-LOSE WEIGHT AND KEEP IT OFF.
If you already have diabetes and are overweight, you can control your diabetes by LOSING WEIGHT AND KEEPING IT OFF.
The connection between obesity and diabetes is there. If you are overweight and lose weight you will be much better off by either avoiding diabetes or getting it under control. The hard part is the doing part-excercise and diet are the only way.
