TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

i got my new a1c today. it went from 6.6 to 6.5. ok so-so. the part that is fantastic is the triglycerides. that went from 271 down to 142. for me that was totally awesome. i have been trying to get that down for a very long time. my a1c is staying around 6.5 because my morning bs is running around 135 to 155. but we decided to not do anything about that right now because i am planning on having gastric bypass in the spring. we did take me off of byetta because it wasn't suppressing my appetite. i am going to keep my metformin and am going to start juaniva. we'll see how that works.

low carb diet and a weight loss of 11 pounds.
thanks everyone for the big boost that only TuD's can give. it means so much more when it comes from those who totally get how hard it is.
