this might be my new favorite thing. i am really excited to get a chance to connect with other diabetics on this site!
i am relatively new to the diabetes scene-- i was diagnosed with type one almost two years ago at the age of 25. it's taken some getting used to, obviously, and i learn more and more that living with diabetes may not ever be something that i completely accept. i try my darndest to take care of myself, but at the same time, try not to let diabetes run my life.
i don't really come into contact with many diabetics on my daily travels, so that's why i started lurking on diabetes blogs, which inspired me to start one of my own-- diabeticdoughnut.blogspot.com. reading and writing and connecting with other people who share the challenges of living with diabetes has been fantastic, just as i'm sure tu diabetes will be.
