My six month check-up was great, everything in normal range, all vitamin levels, choresterol(sp?), A1C glucose was at 5.65, and last bp at my own doctors was at 110/75.  My plateau seems to be at 210, which is fine by me - I can stop buying clothes for awhile, but not get any bigger.  Christmas will have the usual temptations - for me, the biggest is homemade nuts and bolts. I feel super and am trying to increase exercise level though it is hard to take long fast walks with my dog when it's -20 C.  Was doing 3.6 kms every second day til cold weather started in earnest.  I will have to take it inside and resume exercise on treadmill and recumbent bike downstairs, but that won't help my pup wear off her energy!

Many thanks for all those that have sent Christmas greetings!
