My daughter (Type 1, diagnosed Dec. '08) and I were chatting last night, and she offhandedly mentioned she'd like to see a whole day of BS tests for someone without diabetes. So here I am. In addition to the data she's looking for, I thought it would be a good way to walk in her shoes for a day.

7am
No meal
BS 119
Ouch - that lancet kind of hurts even when it's only on 3. My finger still stings 45 minutes later.

ouch, I hate it when that happens. I would go down to 2.5. make sure your fingers are warm, and use the sides of the finger, not in the fleshy middle. I have a multiclix poker, and in all my years I have never used a better device. It also uses drums, so there is no sharps disposal issue.

I applaud you for doing this day! what a great idea!
