Yesterday My oldest turned 17 & my father came home from the hospital

I didn't get to see either one & both events are miracles for entirely different reasons.

Yesterday I shoved a few fears aside to appear on my Stubborn T2's doorstep, kiss him, tell him he is wonderful, & then leave him standing w/ a quizical smile - An act that was completely selfish & liberating on my part, but seemed to confuse him a bit (I hope pleasantly)

Yesterday I had to boss my parents around - A role reversal that I'm not ready to take on just yet, but must & will

Yesterday I organized my desk at work, but only dug a little dent - This is gonna take a miracle that may require the respect of a National Holiday named after it.

Yesterday I talked to my "Daddy" even though he wasn't around to hear it - I'm still curious why he just left like that

Yesterday I thought about my children, school, my dirty house, laundry & Dream Jobs. I pondered having a maid, writing like I used to, "Why don't kids read these days?", & "Would I leave my dog behind in a disaster?".

Yesterday I took some pictures with my kids n the dogs, bought a printer cable, cereal, soda, and 8 Carne Asada Burritos

Yesterday I realized I've gained it all back, wished I had an i-Phone, realized how tired I was, washed two loads of laundry, & sighed

Yesterday I watched Shaun White rockin the snow, a "who dun it" show, and Eternity listen for her queue as she practiced a duet with Mommy

Yesterday I only tucked in two kids & a dog because baby girl was sleepin by the time I got there.

Yesterday I explained Lent & we gave up TV n Gaming stuff

Yesterday I was put in my place, but didn't stay there long - An incident I am proud to have conquered with grace & poise.

Today? Well... Today I was able to keep moving, stay standing, & step forward because, from this side of the Sun, Yesterday looks like a good day!.. Yes! A Very Good Day Indeed!
