TuDiabetes - A Community for People Touched by Diabetes

Is it really November already we have celebrated 11 birthdays 2 wedding anniversarys including our 42nd anniversary welcomed one grand daughter and one granson into the family Emily and Jacob another birthday is comong on the 19th of November with one more in December to say it has been a busy year so far is putting it mildly.

We had one case of the swine flu in the family had to rush to the out patients in the A&E twice one for a pulled shoulder muscle and the other for a dentists cock up removing a wisdom tooth on thet occassion the wife and I did not sleep for 36 hours while our daughter had surgery one of our sons finished his PHD and will soon have a doctorate the other son finished his second degree our eldest grand daughter Jessica started primery school in September and can spell better than me and she is only five years old.

Our daughter who lives in America survived a head on collison in her car thank God no one was killed but she is still having treatment 5 months later the driver of the other car fell asleep at the wheel it would be nice to visit her but on our pensions it is impossible but you never know Ernie might knock our door one day with a big fat cheque not putting much store into that idea as with our daughter surviving the crash two grand children born the wife getting over the swine flu and it was touch and go for awhile I guess we have had our fair share of mother natures luck this year.
