I'm kind of speechless with regard to this (funny? tragic?) situation, having both Type 1 and Celiac. When I go out with others for food, I just keep hoping nobody asks me a question such as, Why aren't you eating this wonderful (carby wheaty something or other)?

Very familiar and very hurtful (being dropped because of your need to eat a certain diet).
