arrrgh! My sugar is running in the 200's again
it is really strange. I can go for a month or two and my sugars are fine and then suddenly it is like the metformin stops working. I work out every day, watch my diet, take my medication. I'm pretty damn healthy. Why the blood sugar problems?

I had a dr once who insisted on me trying metformin even though I am a type 1. After 10-14 of being sick I had my annual with my allergist and found out that I was allergic to it. It made my sugars worse the whole time that I was taking it. My endo then ran a different test that confirmed that I was a type1. It may not be for you.
