Asha has made it her mission lately to make me look like an idiot.

She learns quickly and is very smart... a little too smart. We are halfway through our obedience training. When I practice the "come" command with her she ignores me completely. She does come eventually, when she is finished whatever it is she was doing. So I had a private session with the instructor last night and she asked me what I was having trouble with so I told her, and I also mentioned that she doesnt really focus on me much during training.( even when bribed with food)

The instructor asked me to demonstrate so she could see what was going on.

Asha, with many distractions around us, focused on me and came when called perfectly like she had been doing it for years! BUGGAR!!! I am pretty sure it is some type of dog joke.

my nephew purchased a puppy and he was funny that way too at times. during the personal training of this puppy, (sit, stay, potty training, etc) my nephew took him home after paying deposit, the puppy was acting out. when the puppy was returned to me he was back to learning and teaching, I say that cause i learned the cues he had for letting me know to test my sugars. he was 5 months old, he was killed by a car racing down our road. all i can say is good thing it was no ones child, but i really miss the puppy now.
