Cuba was amazing. truly a life changing experience. we played to games against some Cuban basketball players as well as practiced with them a number of times. we got to know the girls quit well which i think is the one thing that will stay with me from this trip. we were very fortunate to bring extra shoes and clothes sports equipment and anything that we thought would be helpful for them since they have nothing. the last day we played at the girls school where 700 elite athletes of the province live during the week. it was INCREDIBLE. the kids were so curious to see us and were all so nice and welcoming. they lined the gym cheering for the girls, keeping score on a chalk board. the weather was beautiful and then beach and i can't wait to go back to see the girls and country again!

How did all the traveling with your supplies go? I know you were concerned a bit about that before you left. Glad it was a great experience for you.
