A very good friend from the USA and I spoke the other day about his 6 year old daughter who has type 1 diabetes. We discussed her care and
progress, but he told me that since she had been diagnosed 4 years ago –
they had not used a Continuing Glucose Monitor (CGM). Wanting to send
him some useful information, I surfed the web and found mostly academic
studies, techie stuff, blogs about CGM problems and industry promos. It
was difficult to find anything succinct or easy to understand without
shuffling through millions of documents and PDFs. Thanks Google!
For my friend and for others like him, I am reviewing the CGM, its application and benefits. Here we go!
