DO MY SWEATY FINGERS AFFECT MY BG WHEN I TEST?

Good questions, never thought about it. As far as I know and I've been testing for years I've never heard about numbers being affected.

If you want to be sure about this. You should try it with your sweaty fingers. Then wash them and dry them a repeat the test. You can then compare the results and make an informed decision. It is recommended that the test be performed on a clean site. It is also important if you clean the site with rubbing alcohol that you let the alcohol dry thoroughly. If alcohol is not dry the test result will be elevated. I hope this helps.

Good question... I have always been told that sweat indeed interferes with the accuracy of the bg reading. I guess, just to be sure, wash your hands with soap and warm water then dry them. This will help to get a more accurate one.

ONE SHOULD NOT TEST WITH SWEATY AND UN CLEAN FINGERS AS WELL THEN WHY WE PUT OURSELVES IN THIS DISCUSSION
