This one may be fine, but as Ds we need to check and double check for misinformation. I read one from a trusted friend (a TuD board member) on FB today where in a similar circumstance, the MisInformation put out into the world about the whats and whys of a hypo were dangerously inaccurate......Follow through on details and correct where you can. We all depend on this!!!!...Blessings. ..Judith in Portland

This is a well written article and much better than this article in Shawnmaries forum post http://www.tudiabetes.org/forum/topics/i-know-it-s-only-a-yahoo-art... Which is full of mis-information. Thanks MandiG for posting this and thanks Shawnmarie for bringing the other so-called news story to light.

It is absolutely incredible that these two stories are about the same event. This reporter clearly has a clue and provided so many important details that the other story left out and/or got completely wrong. I only wish the family kept glucose tablets at the ready rather than a candy bar. Quickness counts in those situations!
