I saw this on e-patient Dave the other night and wanted to share. The Department of Health and Human Services is having a contest about medical records – you have to submit a video that is less than 2 minutes. I am sure a lot of us have some good stories to tell! My personal favorite of mine was when I read that I had end stage kidney disease – I didn’t panic because I knew I did not have kidney disease let alone end stage kidney disease.
Since e-patient Dave was the one that took the time to write about this contest, I am just going to link to his article and if you are interested, you can check it out. He said you could win $7,500 but the top prize is only $3k – you don’t need to worry about that one because I plan on winning that one! Second place is $2k. Actually, I would be happy with the $250 one.
Here is the link if you are interested and good luck!

Just as last year when my hospital records (picked by my insurance company) thought I have "colon cancer". My family freaked out already only to realize I have gastroenteritis.
