DBLOG WEEK -- Day 4: Fantasy Diabetes Device

After some thought all day, if I were able to have a fantasy diabetes device...

I would love to be able to purchase an Extended Service Warranty on my pancreas, since I had no idea mine was going to expire.

Just like paying for the extended warranties on the washer, dryer, the tv's, video cameras, etc...

I'd definitely buy the longest available option, which would be a 5 year service plan. This would include annual tune-ups and of course an 800 number if there were any problems. The warranty also includes pancreas replacement if it's unable to be fixed.

Near the end of the warranty, I'd extend it for another five years without having to be plagued by numerous customer service calls.

I've read a lot of descriptions of fantasy devises in the last couple of days, and your Extended Service Warranty for a pancreas is absolutely the best. If/when it becomes available, I want one, too!
