I was doing it and did not even know it after being mis-diagnosed as a type 2. Went on losing weight and wound up DKA in emergency and ICU for 4 days. Please be careful :)

When I was in high school I would omit insulin shots just because I didn't want to deal with it not as a way to lose weight...I hadn't realized until this post that it was a condition....
