Does anyone have any experience following "Dr Berstein's Diabetes Solution" guide for keeping blood sugars under control?

I've followed Bernstein's recommendations on diet in some form or another for more than five years. There is a group here specializing in discussion of Bernstein's Diabetes Solution, I would encourage you to join.

I'm using insulin, but I'm also using his principles and low carb though not as low carb as he recommends. It really helps a lot. Come over to the group.

Hi Nofty,
how did you use this product? As a meal replacement?

I've done Bernstein for almost 5 years. It works in all ways. Check out the group that bsc gave you a link for....

I am a Bernstein newbie but there is already no doubt in my mind that he hits the bull's eye. I have lowered my carbs to the level he recommends and am already seeing improvement. I will be starting insulin soon (as opposed to blindly continuing to burn out my few remaining beta cells) and I am certain that it will result in finally achieving the control I have always wanted but never had.

I have started a blog to record my progress, so we'll see what actually happens. But I have no doubt at all about the outcome. Bernstein himself is living proof of his methods -- T1 for 65 years, approaching 80 with good health and normal blood sugar.
