Dr. Faustman at Mass. General Hospital has made amazing progress on a cure for Type 1 diabetes. A cause more worthy of contributions than the ADA (who does not support Dr. F's work on finding a cure...it would put them out of business!)

It is promising and I've been watching this for several years now. I've never understood the exact nature of the "feud" between Dr. F and the ADA and how much of their disagreement is truly about the science and how much is just politics and personalities.
If Dr. F's idea doesn't pan out, I will still consider the effort worthwhile as a contribution to science.
