Got A Diet that Works, Got A New Apartment To!

Well this is a crazy month. WE are now living in the town of Velez Malaga 20 miles from Malaga city. (Get your maps out of google us!You can track me with your Android phone if you wish!
I am one week into my new diet. Basically eating half the amount I consumed before. It's hard, but I can snack an Apple. I just have smaller portions more often allowing my body to use up the energy. It seems to suite me?
After recent electro analysis the nerves in my feet are fine. Despite the Necrosis in my ankle joint the nerves work. The pain told me that!! The surgeon told me last week "When you can't live with the pain any more, just tell me and I will pin your ankle!"! So my ankles future is in my hands!PUN!
So I started to walk Bob for 1/2 hour and amazingly I have lost 3 kilos about 7.5 LBs in the first week! I put on 40LBS after our accident so my target is to lose that 40 LBS first and then we will see. I got to the point of being so obese it was hard to put my socks on! The first walk was agony, from my neck to my toes, but it's getting easier and I'm walking him alone now!
I have felt very ashamed of my size. I was the first Britsh person to teach American Football in the UK profesionally. My whole work life has been hard physical work or hard physical sport! Swimming, weight lifting, Gym, American Football, Judo, later horse and mule training and I was one of the 1st PRE NFL UK Football Coaches! I'm 68 on 30 March, and I demand my life back!
After my first year ever renting we move to a new top floor apartment 1st April. I guess it's what Americans call a Condo, but just 5 floors and instead of a pool we have a lovely residents only garden which is beautifully kept and has 10 Jackaranda tree's! 80 sq yards of our own terrace means us and Bob have plenty of sun deck! WE have huge views all around.
One daughter stayed with us when we sold the farm and now wants her own space, but amazingly despite no confering her apartment is on the same floor as ours but in the next condo along and we can use her pool ha ha!
She really loves her new home and now we have an abundance of bedrooms between us! Maybe this is the life we have prayed for the last eight years?
So watch this space!

This is a smile-inspiring blog, muleman. I have been to Malaga (many, many years ago) and remember it somewhat fondly. I was sleeping in a tent on a camping area that seemed made of stone! haha But I also recall a lovely green park area in the city that was just perfect.

It sounds like magic and I hope everything goes to plan. Keep up the superb progress. Someone needs to teach those Europeans how to play American Football. ;-)
