I've been on my Med-T 523 since October the 8th. It's been good so far (better than MDI). Wearing it doesn't bother me (I usually leave it in my pocket, and it is half the size of my massive phone). A Medtronic rep has been working with me to adjust the delivery settings for this first month. For exercise, I just take if off, suspend, and put the cover on. An hour without basal doesn't matter, especially if I'm burning sugar.
In other news, my 1st HbA1C since dx was a 7.6% - not great, but much better than 12.8% (@ dx). I hope to continue downwards - my goal is under 6.0%.
