I almost forgot! It has been 11 years since I was diagnosed. Time sure does fly by, I have learned SO much since that time, but I also realize there is so much more for me to learn. I have to say since diagnosis the last 3 yrs have been my best. I have worked much harder on my management. My A1C is the losest is has been since 2004. I actually test 6 times a day instead of not at all. I have a pump that rocks my world instead of trying to remember if I have taken a shot or not. I actually workout and eat well instead of stop by McDonalds and eat on the couch in front of the tv. Oh and lets not forget the vitamins! Lord have mercy I take vitamins.

All in all... I rock! I am proud of me.

So again, Happy Anniversary to me! I can't wait to post again in another 10 - 11 years!

CONGRATS, Leah!! Good going with your anniversary. I am trying, but still having trouble with the control. I may have learned a lot in the 20+ years of diabetes, but, like you, I have a LOT MORE to learn!!! I just need support. I have none whatsoever around me and it's just to easy to eat my woes away. Really, I know that I should be eating better, but food is my drug of choice. I have already experienced complications due to this damn disease. I just can't do it alone. (How hypocritical is that? I am wanting people to listen to my story of the complications happening, and I can't keep control myself.) Someone should literally come to my door and give me a good swift kick in the ass!!!

Oooops, sorry for the language. But I am mad at myself!!!!!!!!!
