Comment by HPNpilot on April 17, 2012 at 7:24am I see you didn't get an answer to this....it turns out that there are T1 commercial airline pilots in Canada (but not in the US). In the US you can be a private pilot with T1, but can't get the medical certification for commercial pilot work.

Comment by momwith3 on April 17, 2012 at 4:21pm Thanks for the links. I was told my son would not be able to be a commercial pilot from the pilot industry. How weird. He decided to pursue another career, but I'm glad things are changing for the better.
