Hello to all,
Thanks for all the warm wishes. I am Type 2 and have been since 1997. My Dad was a diabetic for as long as I could remember. I am the oldest of 8 children. There are only 5 of us still alive. My Mother is still alive and will be 73 years old in June. I am married to a great guy and we have 1 daughter and 2 of the most beautiful granddaughters. We also have 2 dachshunds, both male and as rotten as the grandchildren. Once again thank you for the wonderful welcome to this community.

Welcome Pat! Wow since 97. You probably have many tips to teach a youngster like me :P Lots of warm friendly people here to share stories with and learn from here.
