I hope everyone had a great Christmas and wonder New Year. I know everyone wants to lose weight for there new years resolution. I just want to lower my AlC under a 8 and of course lose some weight. I saw some oneone facebook saying I want to lose weight to get rid of their diabetes (type 2). I wish type 1 was that easy. I stuggle every day with this disease.

Oooh indeed I wish it were that easy. Im a type 2 but no amount of weight loss has cured my diabetes. Weight loss was not much of a struggle for me since I was diagnosed T2 with an average weight (127 at 5'4)...sigh. And much to my dismay, I also do struggle sometimes with this disease. But indeed we are all hoping that great things will happen this year. Perhaps even a cure? wink wink :)

Have to agree with Teena there. Unfortunately, like T1, you can only manage T2 so that it is, hopefully, less obnoxious.
