Had a great visit with my doc yesterday. She signed my Canada Disability Tax Credit forms no problem!!! She said she's had other patients apply as well and only one was not approved. She was on a pump so they re-applied and got it. My doc said if I get rejected we'll just keep applying until I get it!!!

Second part of the great news is that she recognized the fact that I used insulin since 2009, so when I apply, I will get credit for that year and get a refund. Then when I pay my taxes every year, I'll get money back as well!!!

Third part of the good news -- she filled out my medical necessity forms for an insulin pump!! She agrees that it's something that would benefit me but suggested I take a course through the health region to understand what they do and how they operate (agreed). I sent the forms off to the company this morning, so I could be pumping by Christmas!!!!

So many exclamation points, I know. But I'm excited and only you guys know what good news this is.
