I missed a tablet last night - I am totally shattered

My PCT only issues one months worth of tabs at a time. As I was issued my tabs and started them on a Monday, they have always run out on a Sunday - a calendar month later. I have got into the swing of ringing up ( now I can email them ) and they prepare the script and drop it at the chemist so I can just drop in and pick it up. I was meant to do this on Saturday but because of illness at home didn't.
I asked Nicky to pick them up yesterday but she forgot.

I thought nothing of it.

I rode into work today in my normal way, had a shower and went about my normal day. None the wiser. I was at my desk beavering away for an hour before I got up to get a coffee. I couldn't believe that my legs felt so empty and I was knackered. I didn't think to test myself although I have a kit at work - double DOH !!

I went off to a meeting at HQ early and went to the canteen and bought a flapjack of white chocolate and apricot. I felt better after that.

I rode home normally and now I feel totally spent again.

Can all this be caused by just a lack of one tablet !!! ???

She got them for me today so I am back on track. I think it doesn't help when I burn 2000 calories in my commuting to and from work. My muscles are depleted of their carb stores and my body is used to the medication allowing me to use what I am eating and not storing it. Lesson learnt and one I don't aim to repeat.

Can't know without testing. Just don't miss too many days, right?

Regrettably, there doesn't appear to be enough information to reach any conclusion. It really depends upon what the medication is and how strongly your body reacts to it - this can vary from person to person. Don't beat yourself up over this; just try to resume your regimen as soon as possible.
