OK
So I need to vent.

Every once in awhile I would like some support.

Hey Family!
Do you think you could eat your pizza and BBQ wings and when you are done TAKE THE BOX out of the living room so I don't have the smell of all that in my face?
Do you think that when you borrow my skillet that I steam my veggies in to make your big juicy cheeseburgers you could clean it out instead of me scraping and washing it? All that cheese makes me crazy.
Do you think that when you put all those goodies on the shopping list that you are allowed to have and I'm not that once in awhile YOU could go grocery shopping? Buying all that can be depressing.
Do you think that when I come home late at night after a 10 hour day (teacher) you could greet me with something else other than "What's for dinner". I have to make two meals, one for you and one for me and I need a minute, OK. Or maybe you could have started dinner?
Do you think that when we are eating, you could not push me to eat what I know and you know I can't. I don't think the offer is generosity or kindness. How many times have I said, no thank you?
Do you think that when I buy light food or sugar free food you could leave some for me and not just leave the stuff you ask for (that I can't eat). I've tried buying all SFree and light and then, you ignore it. Murphy's law I guess.
Do you think that you could leave all the snacks and junk in the cupboards where I put them - out of sight for me? I know its a big bother to open the cupboard and pull it out but it really helps keep it out of sight, out of mind, out of my hands, out of my mouth.

Just a tough week.
And I was thinking, you could have made it a little easier.

How do you measure the work of volunteers?

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
