I was just wondering while I am having a nightsift.
If I have been a bad diabedic and say... thinking about

1. I am going to quit smoking on the 2th of june
2. I am really from now on going to control what i eat
3. I promise to start training again
4. I am losing wight to improve my insulin intake..

Maybe I have done so much damage that it is too late? 18 years of this total crap that I have been doin' to my body.. and I am still healthy.. I even got an option to work as a diabetes nurse. But how can i give advice to people having diabetes by doing the things they never should. Does it make me a bad person? Or is it just an experience.

Ok, I am really sorry, but this is my toughts today/night...

You are not a bad person at all, just a human being with struggles and the realization that things can and will get better if you want them to. I love your list of things to do to make yourself healthy and I wish you the best of luck on your goal to quit smoking. You can do it! It will be a great accomlishment, smoking is an addiction, so be gentle on yourself while your body adjusts to this new challenge. You have nothing to be sorry about and it is good to post your goals and feelings. Best of luck with your bucket list. Keep us posted on your progress! If you feel a little down now and then remember that your body will be going adapting and it will take time to adapt to your new routines and goals.
