Last week I helped or hindered my Angel whilst she picked fruit from our apple and pear trees,I say helped I was there in spirit and sat down exhausted as she gathered dozens of fruit and placed then gently into the basked enough for 20 0r 30 pies there or crumbles and all we had to do was wait and pick them the soil in the Shire is wonderful for growing and the trees make our garden a place for the local birds to make nests have young and fly away in the breeze that is if those 4 legged creatures do not go looking for the young, yes moggies, cats, even smudge fancies her chances sometimes this year she caught 2 sparrows considering she has no teeth that is a feat all on its own mind you nothing wrong with her claws as she often likes to show me as I stroke her on the head and behind her ears and under her chin, she really has me trained.
this yea there has ben enough for us birds and other creatures when it comes to apples and pears, tomatoes were a dismal failure growing them upside down in a container lots of stalks massises of leaves but only 3 tomatoes all season, strawberries were the same mind you I have never had green fingers brown through smoking maybe but all clean these days not a fag/cigarrette since 2004 you really must excuse the spelling wish I could just talk and the lappy typed my words let no one ever tell you the lack of a good education really does not matter usually the folks that want to keep you down say such things.
Angel ran a mock last nigh as she saw a spider run past her bed, shocks I could do with out mind you it was one of those black bodies large house spiders we both hate,I was assigned to deal with it no idea which of us was more frightned the spider or me,I caught it in a glass and gentyly slid some card under the bottom and up he she or it came scurrying about in the glass, fast I should cocooh,I dropped it out of the window but not sure if that was safe to do for the spider read somewhere falling from great heights can kill them mind you falling out of a plane with no parashute is not good for humans so I have heard, funny the things that happen in our home.

Hi Twiddle, I am so happy to hear that you got outside for a bit of fresh air and some exercise. Even sitting and breathing the fresh air and basking in the light is very good for the soul.
What kinds of apples and pears do you grow in your yard? I was trying to send you a picture of some fruit but couldn't decide the color of apples or pears to send.
Congratualtions for stopping smoking for so long, it is a diffucult addiction to face off and I am so impressed that you have not smoked for so long. I hope you have a nice day and have fully recovered from the scary spider. Fancy that Smudge has no teeth and still able to hunt. That says a lot about the use of a cats claws. I hope all is well with you today. Are you enjoying any pies or crumbles yet? Your Angel is amazing and sounds so full of energy to work and tend a garden and cook and everything. You are very lucky to have her, but I know you already are aware of that!
