I wanted to see if there is anyone out there who is has LADA and is taking symlin?? My specialist has stated that I am still in my "honeymoon' phase (sorry .....but this isn't exactly how I pictured my honeymoon.....oh well:) My fastings are still under a 100mg/dl but I'm having a bit of a problem with my post-prandials. I'm just curious if anyone has had any success with using symlin(without a mealtime insulin).

Hi Sharon,
I have LADA and was on Symlin for a while. It didn't work too well for me (not a great impact on post-prandial BGs and lots of nausea) but that is just me.
