Looking forward to learning more about this illness the good and the bad with Tudiabetes/Members!!!!

Dear Pals:
I am fairly new to this site and I have been many times just reading up on so many great profiles and learning from your forum threads.

I am happy and relieved to have found this place. I am blessed with a very loving and dedicated family and the best of friends but none of them have diabetes(thank God) so I am limited to the things I can or cannot discuss with them.

Here I log in and just start sharing and I look forward to others sharing with me.

This place is a perk that comes with his horrible illness.

I am very busy and even though I work from home, I am a journalist that writes for over 6 magazines and I am the Lifestyle Editor of Venus Diva Magazine, I am working on my first children's book in Spanish and English and I model and act as well. Not to mention I am a proud mommy of four kids, ages, 4, 9, 13, and 16.

I take care of my mother who is 74 and very healthy and she lives with me.

This family is made perfect with my adoring husband Raul. He is my best friend and supports me and takes good care of me and is always on top of my sugar levels. I would be lost without him.

I am going drop by here every chance I get. My goal this year is to become more involved with spreading the word on Diabetes especially around the Latin Community and our youth. Prevention is the key word here.

Feel free to drop by my page and share a little of yourselfs.

Looking forward to meeting you all.

Hugs,
Olga

Hola Andi:)
Thanks so much for taking the time to read my blog and yes I accept the new friendship and I am looking forward to many chats with ya.
I am super busy but I rather keep myself busy than have nothing to do. It would drive me crazy. LOL.

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
