Sorry everyone. I lost my Internet connection. A good friend brought me his old laptop over today to use till my disability goes through and it has wifi so I'm back online for now. To catch you up:

I just had a high resolution ct chest scan last Thursday to see the extent of the Interstitial Lung Disease. I had an MRI last Friday on my head and neck. If no blockages are found then the doc is adding Cataplexy to my list of diagnosis. He believes that is what is causing the black outs.

Had more pulmonary tests done. I am now on a CPAP machine at night. I'm also taking 40mg of Prednisone (a cortico-steroid) every day and using Advair 500/50 twice a day (another cortico-steroid) and Flonase every morning (another cortico-steroid).

It seems like the pressure I used to feel in my chest is now turning to mild pain. I don't know if that's because it's progressing or due to the meds. I'm now waiting on test results and more tests are being ordered.

I also go back for more extensive diabetic glaucoma testing to see how far that has advanced and getting scheduled for Cataract surgery in my left eye which I'm pretty much almost blind in till the surgery now.

There you go. A recap of my life. ;-) Breathing is getting harder and more painful. I'm writing and planning my bucket list, waiting for disability to move into a more positive environment, got on Medi-Cal, writing a will, writing a health-care power of attorney and looking for prepaid burial insurance for when my disability starts.

Hope to hear from everyone and see how all my dfriends are doing.

hugs, clay

I love that name, DuckFiabetes. ;[) Thanks so much for the kind words. Yes, I have done pretty much most all kinds of photography including the PinUp. I love to do retro looking photography like pinups from the 50s. But I also love to do macro florals and sunsets and seascapes. I guess I'm just a photo junky. ;-) Getting harder to focus on the screen though and after 30 plus years of using my left eye in the viewfinder I'm still trying to adjust to using my right eye now. Don't get out to do much anymore though.

Thanks everyone for your kind words. No pity though, I'm just trying to make the best of what ever time I have.

Hi Clayton, so glad to meet you. I checked out your pictures and the are great. The funny thing about this is that I almost fell out when I saw some of your pictures because from the forehead down you look just like my partner! You could pass as twins.
I am so sorry to here that you are ill. I hope there is something that we all can do to help you feel better. I hope you have a great time with your bucket list too. I think its funny that you like Ducky's name. I like his picture too.

Did they give you the prognois for the cataract surgery on your eye? I have had both my eyes done and it worked really well. I can see great with glasses. Hope yours works out well for you so that you can keep creating that beautiful photography. So pleased to meet you. Lots.

Thanks lotsofshots. ;-) All they said about my cataracts is in mainly in the left eye and they would schedule the surgery but it takes 3 to 6 months to get it scheduled. :[) Getting pretty hard to see well. Still waiting. ... ;-)
