Maybe Christmas is here, at Last.....

Checklist: The doves float atop the tree. My exquisite Renaissance Black angel from my sister via the Mpls Art Institute hovers gently just below the doves. The wheatstraw cranes soar expansively.

Lisa's baby-made God's Eye of twigs and yarn speaks of love, as does her precious 3-year-old construction-paper baby in a manger (with just a splash of lace from my little kids' project box).

There is one of the 49-cent drugstore glass balls from our first, very poor Christmas together. There are 30 year's worth Marcella's amazingly vibrant Mexican tin ornaments (never a double-up--how??).

There is leggy, porcelain Ms. Claus fulfilling her duty to mask cords. There are all the beloved Indian embroideries, hand-carved critters and my German Santas.

Oh---musn't forget the Kliban cat & soft things on the bottom tier that have stood up to years of kitty-whacking...

The Messiah on my beloved AllClassical radio station.....Okay. Tomorrow I wrap. I believe we finally have Christmas here!

Oh my bad. I forgot to mention that the Yeti has assumed his proper place. Really. What is a Christmas Tree without a Yeti!..

Love you all. Need you all. Blessings on you all.....Judith in Portland...xx000

Yes, my friend, Nel. I can picture it. Once my D brought home a whole fresh-caught salmon from one of his Native American friends at work who has first dibs on catching our remaining native salmon. My dozen cats who of course adore salmon(lol) were horrified at the sudden appearance of this humongous fish carcass! The house was vacant of cats imediately.....

329,040 minutes, 329,040 moments so dear. 329,040 minutes — How do you measure, measure volunteers? In smileys, in tears shed, in counsel, in cups of coffee. In units, in carb counts, in laughter, in strife. In 329,040 minutes – how …
