I did it!
After an A1C of 8.0, I took the plunge (pun intended)

Now it just needs a cool nickname, so far we have Pingy or Panky, lol.

Cool... tell me how it goes. How much Insulin do you use a day. And how much Insulin does the Animas 2020 hold?

I've been MDI for a year. Diagnosed last January. I've had good A1C's of 5.2, 5.1 and 5.4. But I travel for my job and I'm always worried about lows on the road when I'm away from home.

You will love it!! I switched to Ping from MM after pumping since '92. It has a bit of a learning curve but you will enjoy learning.
