I just had a nice lunch of caprese salad (mozzerella with tomato and basil) and a half sandwhich. It was the first time that I have ever craved tomato, mozzerella, and basil. I love mozzerella and basil, but not to hip on tomato's. But still it was really really good.

That's wonderful... Listening to our body's true cravings. :) Way to go.

I could eat caprese for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Next time, if you can, try it with mozzarella di bufala...ahhhhhhhh, bliss.

I got to visit rural central Italy for a few weeks once. Quite an experience. I've never been to an Italian restaurant here in the states that comes anywhere close to that.

@Jaanet K. I did have it with mozzarella, I got a large log of it for $2.99 because it was on sale, thats what prompted the dish to be made.
