Pleasure...what is it and where is it found?

What does pleasure mean to me? Where do I find it?

Pleasure is what makes me smile....what gives me pause. It can be long and drawn out or it can appear and disappear in a split second.

Where can it be found?

Here's my simple 5:45am list....care to share yours?

-The first cup of coffee...hazelnut...enjoyed in the dark of the early morning serenaded by the dawn chours.

-The gentle touch of a skilled and caring massage therapist...90 minutes worth!

-The rub of a soft, slightly damp nose of my cat as she tries to wake me.

-An early morning Skype conversation with a faraway friend who offers inspiration without even knowing it.

-The full Harvest Moon...did anyone else catch a glimpse of that glowing orb?

-Bringing a smile and a bit of cheer to another....even when I'm not quite feeling cheerful.

-Being able to complete a gentle Sun Salutation.

-Honeybees and the smell of clover.

-Homemade fresh Gazpacho...grab a spoon and let's dig in!

It's good to step back and make a list like this when pleasure seems like a distant memory.

Moment by moment.

That hazelnut coffee sounds pretty delicous. The first cup of coffee early Sunday morning does it for me every time.
