Has anyone tried one of the pod pumps by Omnipod? I was wondering about your experiences compared with other pump types.

I have not tried other pumps. I have only used the omni pod. I love the Omni Pod. With the omni pod you can swim and shower without having to disconnect anything. Also, with the Omni Pod, you do not have to clip anything to your belt. You can be 500 feet away from the PDM and still receiving insulin. Get the Omni Pod!!

It's the first and only pump I've ever used also. Waited 36 years to try one and I absolutely love it. Sorry I can't give you a comparison but I'm afraid I wouldn't go with a tubed pump (and so the reason for waiting so long) Like every pump there's pros and cons but I've been very happy. You can get a free mock pod to try on and wear. Give it a try!
