CLASSROOM RESEARCH PROJECT
You are invited to participate in a study that will look at people's knowledge of the ADA and attitudes toward people with disabilities in the workplace. In addition, this study is being conducted to fulfill the requirements of a Capstone Project entitled "Going Beyond the ADA". The study is conducted by Deven Jones. Deven Jones can be reached at devojones@gmail.com. This project is supervised by the student's Capstone Advisor, Audrey Sevalt, Human Resources, University of Denver, Denver, CO 80208, (phone number), asevalt@du.edu.
Participation in this study should take about 25 minutes of your time. Participation will involve responding to 30 questions about the Americans with Disabilities Act and experiences with disabilities. Participation in this project is strictly voluntary. The risks associated with this project are minimal. If, however, you experience discomfort you may discontinue your participation at any time. We respect your right to choose not to answer any questions that may make you feel uncomfortable. Refusal to participate or withdrawal from participation will involve no penalty or loss of benefits to which you are otherwise entitled.
Your responses will be anonymous. That means that no one will be able to connect your identity with the information you give Please do not write your name anywhere on the questionnaire. Your return of the questionnaire will signify your consent to participate in this project.
