This is Lee howards Wife he was in a bad accidnet has been in ICU
My name is Angie i am Lee Howards wife. He was hit in a very severe crash on the 28th it was a hit and run the other guys fault they Tboned him it was a large van compared to our little ford taurus. He has been in a trauma center ICU ever since. He is finally being weaned on the ventilator. he has blood around his brain, broken pelvis in multiple spots, not really able to use his right side, he knows me but we dont know what else. He has gotten MRSA as well. I know he comes on here and wanted to let people know what is going on. he needs prayers right now if you pray. He is in isolation. They do not know the extent of the brain injury yet, he came outta a coma on monday but is still not with it. Everytime he wakes up you have to tell him where he is and what happened.

well i hope he and everyone will be OK, i had a taurus and it was a good car sturdy so let's hope he will be fine keep the faith , hang in there,, God Bless

Thank you both, i wasent sure where to post this but knew that he liked this site and wanted to let everyone know, hes still very critical but stable and making small steps forward. His diabetes is actually under control for once though! They dont know if he will know how to walk or talk or anything yet. He should be off the ventilator in a few days then they can do more tests. I will keep everyone updated as i know more. I have never seen him like this hes always so strong. The car was even destroyed on the inside they said if he had been in any other car he would of been dead, and even with teh one he was in he should of been dead, thank God he is still alive! Each day they said his chances are better and better with making it. The van that hit hit was speeding ran a red light never slowed down, tboned him and drove off. they found them and they have no ins but thankfully we have good car ins.

Angie, my heart goes out to you. I will be praying for you both. The fact that he is already out of the coma is huge. I've been down this road with a loved one and I can tell you that I know that the brain can heal.

I'm so very sorry. All positive thoughts surround Lee for a full recovery. That's he's making improvements is very encouraging. We're all pulling for him.
