I remember in my early 20's being told that I was too old to have juvenile diabetes anymore and too young to have adult diabetes :-).

I wish there was such a thing as being too young! My daughter was just diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and she had just turned 9 when she was diagnosed in November of 2011.

Congratulations on skipping the ICU in 2011! My daughter was in the NICU for a week when he was born and it wasn't much fun. It's also a big step to try to be positive. Maybe post in the forum more specifics if you are yutzing around w/ rates and ratios and that kind of stuff. A lot of people there may be able to make suggestions?
