Hi Marnie,

Since taking Vit D3, I never get colds. Perhaps D3 (oil caps) would help your daughter's cold. Zinc supplements also help. Would she use a neti pot?

How much D3 do you take? Tried the netti pot...she hated it...thx, marnie

My husband hates the neti pot also. My D3 measured super low & it took months of 10,000 units daily to get it up to healthy levels. I still take that dose. According to Dr. Cannell of the Vit D Council http://www.vitamindcouncil.org/about-vitamin-d/, the amount of sunlight needed to convert would be the equivalent of 20,000 units daily.

Thx, I will look into it...She hasn't been outside much lately...exercising with the Wii since Christmas!
