It is August 15. More that two weeks since my last blog posting. The move to the new place went very well. The place is very relaxing. I like it. My room mate likes it. My turtle likes it.

I still have a situation with the insurance. I have decided to save the money I would have had deducted from my check for insurance premiums and deposit it into a special account solely for the purpose of paying for doctor visits. Since my doctor will schedule a visit once every 3 or 4 months, the $300 or $400 in the account would pay for the visit and tests. Also, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, and other places offer a club or program that will allow you to purchase your medications (generic) for like $4 a refill. (After you pay $25 for the club fee.) To me. this is a good way to go. Until I get back to a higher paying job, this method will allow me to get the medical treatment and medications that I need.
