OK...So I went to the Endo today and my 3 month A1C was 7.2!!! I am so pissed at myself. Why does my dang A1C always go up during the holidays???? Why can't I stay away from the eggnog??? Atleast I didn't gain any weight!!! I actually lost 2 pounds!!!! Next year I am having my A1C drawn before the holidays and not after!!!! LOL

Wow, you are brave for going to the doctor right after the holidays. According to my meter average my A1c should have gone up a full point!! So I think that I will wait a month or so before going to the doctor!!! I didn't even try to carb count and control well during the holidays. SO you are not alone!!!
