Vitamins for Diabetics

As Peetie pointed out, it is National Vitamin Month. So today will cover needed diabetic vitamin concerns.

Have you actually gotten results from apple cider vinegar? I tried it and got zero results.

Hmm... I use wine and cheese for DP (actually works better for me than Metformin) and... some nights I just don't feel like it. How do you take the Apple Cider Vinegar Judith? Thanks. Joanne :)

Judith ...ground flax.??~!! besides cinnamon for flavour ..every morning on my joghurt and steel cut oats , hubby preps ! ...(good for the stool movement too ..ask me :) )

Wine and cheese helps with DP? Really? I have never heard of that one before. Is it the alcohol content of the wine that does it? Why cheese with it?

Hi Chris. Apparently the wine works for DP for some people because the alcohol keeps the liver busy so it forgets to send out the rush of morning sugar. Many people use walnuts with the wine. I like the cheese. Seems to work most days. Joanne
