Insulin doesn't cause kidney damage but consistent high bgs do. Here you can find support for whatever Diabetes problem you have. We have such a diverse group of people from all over the world. Education is the key to living with this disease and education is ongoing. Research is continuous and so is our education of how to live and manage this disease. I hope you have a solid healthcare team, such as an Endocronologist, internest, Nephrologist (for your kidneys), food doctor, dentist and any other specialist that you might need. With such a healthcare team and TuDiabetes you have all the support you need...take care.

Thank you for responding.I have had a hard time taking care of myself because of lack of good health providers due too lack of good insurance. I have a very low income and i have to rely on these clinics or limited care from doctors.I just recently started looking for information and education on line. Thankyou for the information.
