so a person who i thought was my friend told me she got diagnosed earlier this year with celiac and type 2 diabetes. last week i found out she doesn't because she was eating a grilled cheese sandwich in front of me. when i asked her why she was eating it she told me that the doctors gave her a shot that coats her stomach to stop the pain. so i automatically knew she was lying and told 3 of my close friends. they got mad for 1 because it hurt me and 2 because they're tired of her lying. they confronted her and now she is trying to turn it on us and say that we are causing her so much pain cause she has been going through all these test (which she might be i dont know i just know she doesnt have celiac) and that us doing this TO HER has been so hard on her. she has no idea what someone with type 1 and celiac has to go through and out of everyone im the one thats been hurt the most because someone i thought i could trust and believe in did this to me. shes driving me crazy and i dont know what to do anymore im just glad its the end of the year and i wont have to deal with this anymore

This is going to sound weird but it sounds like that girl is jealous...I know....but sometimes people are jealous of anything that you may have that sets u apart and she doesn't...and a jealous person is not ur friend! So be thankful that u see how she is now and not during a time when u really need a friend because she is not one...

Yes, people can be jealous of your disease, illness or diabetes. Just ignore the whole thing, she is to be pitied really. Hugs, Maureen
