TuDiabetes

It was one of those the days. The ones that you sit around wondering why the hell this happened to you. And then you wonder why the hell you are feeling sorry for yourself. Its just one of those days that totally SUCK!!! And of course it was one of those days were the people in my life were not being very helpful. It just SUCKED!!!! I didn't get anything done and I have a crap load to do. I sat around wondering why? Why I just couldn't ignore how I was feeling and why I couldn't just get my stuff done. It was one of those days when I started thinking about those first days and how it was such a relief to not have to go pee every five minutes. Argh! I hate it when I wake up and the day starts off awful even before anything happens. Argh! well tomorrow is another day and I just hope it goes a lot better than today. Cause today really just SUCKED!!!!!
AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah yes. My husband is an emergency manager and he has to deal with the most ridiculous array of acronyms. So we came up with one for my bad days-----AFDD----Another F#*&**# Diabetic Day. I work hard to alter the arc of that day, but I admit it doesn't always work. Hang in there and best wishes!.....Judith in Portland

When I have a day like that, I get mad, cry, have my little pity party for myself for an hour or so. Then, I get determined to overcome the negative! Almost a "fight" attitude. I refuse to give in for very long. I usually feel alot better when I don't let it have the upper hand. I do hope that tomorrow is better for you....just try and be strong and tell yourself that it could be alot worse.

boshra, why don't you visit Robyn's thread, "What are you grateful for today?" (or something like that), each day and see what others say about how grateful they are, even when having a bad day. You might want to add your own thoughts. Today I am glad I do not have a more horrific disease than diabetes. Why was I chosen to get a lesser disease than the guy who has an untreatable brain tumor?
