I am going to see the nutritionist in about one and a half weeks and for the past few days I have not been keeping up my food, bolusing, etc. journal. It is going to be a chore to try to fill in all the gaps but I plan on trying to figure out what I have eaten since Halloween today. Tonight I am going to make a vegan split pea soup. I had a tempeh wrap for lunch. I have no plans for a protein exchange tonight. Hopefully if I bring a list of all the recipes I want to try to the nutrtionist, she can suggest some protein exchanges that will accompany them well. I am suffering a little burn out on trying to adjust my basal rates. I had them adjusted well in September but then things changed and they need to be readjusted. I gained 11 pounds which is good and I stopped doing most of my exercise activities except my daily 1.5 mile walk, which is of course bad. Tomorrow I plan to try a new yoga class that will hopefully get me out of this rut. I really hope this nutritionist works out for me and that eating more balanced meals will help me balance my sugars better.
