WNBA MVP Tamika Catchings: Advocating for Health, Fitness and Diabetes Awareness

The 2011 WNBA MVP, Tamika Catchings, took a few minutes to share her thoughts on setting big goals and then accomplishing them. She also chats about why diabetes advocacy is important to her, personally.

PS ...I am totally " of guard " that NO one has responded to your post ..what can I say ?? are PWD not supporting any form of exercise ??....just Asking !!!

Well, I guess it is because I just feel "ho hum" about it. I am glad Laura is posting this and I applaud Tamika Catchings for her charity work for diabetes. But I'm not really keen on the ADA as a charity working on behalf of me as a patient. And while I do think fitness is very important, tuD may just not be the target audience for Dribble to Stop Diabetes. Dribble to Stop Diabetes is a fundraising event focused on raising money and public awareness. I am already painfully aware of my diabetes.

I do hope that Laura will continue posting, I always enjoy these things. But in this case, I am just "ho hum."
